EVENT STAFF - Our event staff are here to help you, please be respectful and be patient as some areas at the check-in gates, bars and food areas can at times be busy. Please look out for our
Event Ambassadors who will be able to assist you.
TICKETS - Once printed, please keep your ticket dry. Melrose Rugby Ltd is not responsible for any inconvenience or delay in entering the venue caused by a badly printed or damaged ticket.
Please ensure that you keep this ticket in a safe place as you would regular tickets or money. Melrose Rugby Ltd is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by the duplication or printing of this ticket. In the event that duplicate copies are presented, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any or all ticket holders. This ticket can be scanned direct from your mobile device, if you have no access to a printer. Please ensure you have downloaded the ticket(s) and are open on your device for scanning.
WRISTBANDS - All ticket holders will be issued with a wristband on entry to the ground; re-entry only with a wristband. If the wristband is lost a new ticket will need to be purchased. Standing Ticket holders will not be allowed access to the Enclosure/Main Stand/VIP/Hospitality areas. ALL children under the age of 18 will receive a colour coded wristband to identify them as a child.
ALCOHOL - No alcohol can be brought into the event. We operate a Challenge 25 policy at all Bars, photo-id may be requested as proof of age. No under 18s will be served alcohol, and we have strict policies in place for any adult purchasing alcohol for a child under the age of 18, and you may be asked to leave the event if you do so.
PROHIBITED ITEMS - All ticket holders and players will be required to go through the security bag search, please be patient and respectful to our staff. The following items are NOT permitted tobring into the event, if discovered these will be removed at your point of entry.
Knives, Fireworks and flares, smoke canisters, lasers, weapons or hazardous items, air horns.
Drugs are not permitted and anyone found taking drugs will be passed across to the onsite police officers. You are permitted to bring in soft drinks HOWEVER please do not bring in glass bottles or unopened cans, these will be removed at the point of entry. No pets other than guidance dogs will be allowed entry to the Melrose Sevens Rugby Event. Please do not bring camping chairs or stools into the Melrose Sevens, there is not sufficient space to accommodate them in the event ground, these will be removed from you at the point of entry. We have picnic benches in the Fanzone and Family Food Village areas; if you think that you will need a seat for the duration of the event then we would suggest that you consider purchasing an Enclosure or Main Stand Ticket where you will have a reserved seat.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY - Melrose Rugby Ltd or its commercial partners may from time to time create images and/or audio-visual footage of spectators attending the Melrose Sevens and this may include you. Melrose Rugby Ltd or its commercial partners (as the case may be) shall own all rights in these images and footage and will be entitled to use these promote Melrose Rugby Ltd and its commercial partners and for any other purpose deemed reasonable by Melrose Rugby Ltd. Your entry into the Melrose Sevens is confirmation that you have consented to such use. If you are under 15 years of age then either the parent, guardian or responsible adult who is accompanying you shall be deemed to have provided consent on your behalf.
TRAVEL - Melrose Rugby Ltd accepts no responsibility for the cancellation of public or private transport which may result in you not being able to attend the event. Please plan your journey in advance and note that hotel accommodation in the local area can be very limited, so please book ahead. ScotRail trains to Tweedbank run regularly please check their website www.scotrail.co.uk for timetables and schedule changes. In conjunction with Border Buses, we run a shuttle bus service from Tweedbank station to the event, there is a charge for this. Please check their website www.borderbuses.co.uk for the service times and schedule changes for the 777 special bus service. For the duration of the event roads around the event ground may be closed or have restrictions placed on them at times, please check our website www.melrose7s.co.uk for more information before you travel. The Melrose Sevens is conveniently situated in the centre of Melrose and its community, please be respectful to our neighbours and local businesses.

Conditions of Sale
- This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisers of the event and is subject to the following terms and conditions.
- The ticket vendors are acting as a retailer of this ticket at the request of the promoters and accept no liability whatsoever for any loss incurred by the purchaser of this ticket if the event does not take place in whole or in part.
- We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Admission to the event is by full ticket only. Readmission is allowed, but only by showing the correct wristband.
- Where applicable latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event and admission cannot always be guaranteed.
- The ticket holder is responsible for care of the ticket after purchase. The promoters, performers, sponsors, venues, ticket vendors or their agents are not responsible for damage to or loss of the ticket.
- The ticket holder consents to participate in any audio or visual recordings of the event.
- The ticket holder assumes all risk of injury and all responsibility for loss, destruction or theft of property and releases promoters, performers, sponsors, venues, ticket vendors and their agents from any liability thereafter.
- Ticket holders will be subject to a search, in a manner permissible under the law, before entering the venue.
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the venue for reasons of public safety, overcrowding or otherwise.
- Anyone seeking to gain admission using a counterfeit ticket will be prosecuted.
- The organisers reserve the right to make essential changes to the performance programme without prior notice.
